2017 WC drastically changed things for women’s cricket in India: Raut

New Delhi: World Cup ICC 2017 Women held in the UK changed things dramatically for women’s cricket in India, said Veteran Pamam Raut’s dough, who played a crucial knock of 85 running in the last match of the tournament.
Chasing the 229 target running in the final, India will be strong but collapsed from 191/3 to come out for 219, losing the match with just nine runs.
Even though India lost the dramatic final, things changed for women’s cricket in the country after that.
“We did it very well at the 2017 World Cup in England and from there, everything changed dramatically for women’s cricket in India.
Our match began to be broadcast and had good media coverage and even parents became more cricket,” said Raut IANS inside Exclusive interview.
“Previously, ordinary parents complained but now they motivated girls to play cricket and even many asked me about various levels of women’s cricket and the whole process to be chosen.
Overall, more women’s matches are playing and more.
Talent Interesting just arrived, “he added.
After playing international cricket for about a decade, Pamam believed that women’s sports in India had changed a lot compared to the time he began.
“Many things have increased forever.
When I start playing, there is no regular broadcast from our match, and people only know one or two women’s cricket but now fans follow most of the Indian women’s cricket matches and realize others too,” he said .
“Now we have a decent domestic structure and a large number of international matches played in one season.
Although the number of matches we play is less than men, better than what it is.
Young players get exposure to ‘a’ team tour and by playing in the league Foreigners too, “he added.
There has existed choirs that grow to organize women full of IPL and experienced campaigners also feel that league five or six teams are the need for hours.
“Yes, I am very optimistic about Women’s IPL.
The league will help the Indian Women’s Cricket Team in getting fearless players and readymade as we now see with a team of men.
Children will get the opportunity to rub the legend of the game with the country’s legend Different and will help them in honing their skills, “said the mixture.
“It will also function as a platform for the players, which have been dropped from the Indian team, to prove themselves and return,” he added.
The 32-year-old child also rejected the ‘less talent’ argument, said that there was no scarcity of talent in the set-up of Indian women’s cricket.
“I have played a lot of domestic cricket and can say that we have a lot of talented players.
Many of these matches have not yet, and not broadcast television so it is believed that there is a lack of talent.
There are many active.
There are many active and even cricketers who have a cricket mill Domestic and regularly do it well for each team, “said Raut.
“However, people only know 15 players who display in the Indian squad and their performance on the domestic circuit is not considered.
IPL women will also help them get their maturity recognition.
So, I strongly believe that we have sufficient talent in the country .
Start five or six IPL teams, “he added.
