Mumbai: The Bombay High Court on Wednesday continued until September 8 aid against the arrest of the Kundra businessman in the case of November 2020 which was registered by the Cyber Nodal police station in Mumbai for allegedly obscene and explicit content distribution.
This case also raises indecent representation of women (prohibitions).
In a similar assistance to accuse Umesh Kamat, 39, HC continued the pre-arrest radius of him in the first information report in November 2020 (FIR).
Both, Kundra and Kamat, in a separate petition have challenged the recent orders from the session court that has refused their anticipatory guarantee in 2020 FIR but has provided temporary protection until the rejection of the request.
The prosecutor delivered before the SK Shinde judge that a copy of the certified session was not yet available.
Kundra, represented by senior adviser Shirish Gupte, in court custody in connection with other cases under information technology laws for alleged publishing and transmission of “porn content ” was registered earlier this year.
KAmat was represented by Advocate Sudatta Patil, also accused of February 2021 FIR and came out with a guarantee in case after the task of three months in detention.
