2021: a year of silver layer for Jharkhand sports

Ranchi: Year 2021 may have been damaged by the Pandemic Covid-19 which killed hundreds of people throughout the country, but it came as a silver layer for state sports culture.
From the embarrassing load from the first lock in 2020, where national athletes such as Karate Vimla Munda players were forced to sell rice beer on the outskirts of Ranchi because of poverty, Jharkhand girls rubbed the shoulder with the Tokyo Olympics in their search to get a medal for the country In 2021.
For the first time, Jharkhand sent three girls to the Olympics.
While Champion Archer Deepika Kumari entered the ring as a favorite, he fell from individual events and teams after a bad show.
However, Nikki Pradhan and Salima Tete Hockey players maintained life expectancy when the Indian women’s hockey team really missed bronze.
Before the Olympics, Jamshedpur born in Komalika Bari won the World Archery Championship with Deepika.
Although narrowly lost in Medal, Pradhan and Tete were given a cash prize worth RS 50 Lakh each for their sandy performance by the state government.
The government also announced that their Kuccha’s house in the rural Khunti and Simdega would be rebuilt to become Pucca’s house by each district administration.
In March this year, the government of Hemant Soren gave a letter appointment at Jharkhand police to 40 athletes from various sports disciplines.
“It was just the beginning.
Over time, we will provide lateral entries to athletes, which are superior at various levels, in government work so that they don’t have to sell horny on the roadside,” said Soren.
According to the sports department, the application of 50 athletes is considered more.
The government shows a positive purpose by recruiting sports officers for 24 state districts.
“This is the first time in the history of Jharkhand that DSO was recruited,” said a senior official in the department.
Observing a long-term development program for state football, the Jharkhand government held talks with the Indian Football Federation (AIFF).
“Because of the proactive efforts of the state government, AIFF moved its national camps to the Indian team which will take part in the Senior Women’s AFC camp in 2022 and the U-17 Women’s Junior World Cup.
The idea is to develop the country into the center of football and provide local talent as much as possible, “said the official.
Earlier this month, the government launched Sahay, a scheme aimed at obstructing children in the affected area from joining violence by taking sports.
The 10-Crore Hospital scheme aims to hold a Panchayat tournament and block-level in football, hockey, volleyball and athletics.
Panchayat and the block-level team will lock the horn in the local tournament which will then lead to the state level tournamee.
Winners (in team events and individual disciplines) will then be absorbed into the housing and training facility managed by the state and will be prepared for state and national level competitions).
“Even though the pandemic leaves a little chance to practice, our boys and women do it very well in the national and international stages.
The state also organizes various international and national sporting events.
Overall, that year promises to sports countries,” said the President Jharkhand Olympic Association Madhukant Pathak.
