Udhampur (J & K): Top army officer on Saturday entitled 2021 “year watershed” for the armed forces on the control path (LOC) in Jammu and Kashmir and the actual control line (LAC) on Ladakh.
He said the troops showed courage in standing up to “aggressive design” in two Union regions.
North Command – North Commander General Officers, General YK Joshi said there had been a reduction in terrorist incidents and stingy stones in Jammu and Kashmir.
“There is a reduction in terrorist incidents, the activity of throwing stones and protests as a result of tireless efforts from the security forces and the people of J & K,” said Joshi, overcoming the North order investment ceremony at his head office in J & K.
Previously at the ceremony, He presented the appreciation of the GOC-IN-C at 40 units and the GOC-IN-C ‘appreciation certificate to 26 units for the whole’ extraordinary ‘and’ distinguished ‘performance in the command theater.
The GOC-IN-C award was given for the performance of the unit in Meghdoot operation, Rakshak operation, the northern limit operation, and other operations in the command.
The GOC-IN-C appreciation certificate was given to the performance of the unit in the Snow Leopard operation, which was launched after China refused to return and restore the status quo ante on the East Ladakh.
“The ceremony is a chemical opportunity to appreciate and recognize professionalism in the operational role carried out by the unit during their term of office in the North Command,” said a defense spokesman.
The Army Commander praised all the ranks of the North Command for their dedication and devotion to serve in the highest tradition of Indian soldiers.
He also expressed his sincere gratitude to the brave people who put their lives in the challenge of internal security.
