Kochi: Kerala reported 20,224 cases of Covid-19 and 99 deaths on Friday, with total Kaseeload to 37,86,797 and tolls to 19,345.
Thrissur reported the highest number of cases (2,795), followed by Ernakulam 2.707, Kozhikode 2,705, Malappuram 2.611 and Palakkad 1,528.
“Among those found infected today, 137 reached the country from externally 19.205 contracted diseases through their contacts.
The source of 785 infection has not been traced.
97 Health workers are also infected,” Health Minister Veena George said in the release.
He said 1,19,385 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, taking a total of 3,00,73,530.
The test level of the test reaches 16.94.
The minister said 17,142 people recovered from this disease, took a total of recovery in the country to 35.84,634.
At present there are 1,82,285 people in care in the state.
There were 4,91,871 people under observations in Kerala, where 26,952 were on the path of isolation from various hospitals.
There were 414 wards in 74 local government agencies in the state where the population of the weekly infection (WIPR) was above eight percent.
