20,367 Cases, Puttyititant Rate Test at 13.35 Percent in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: The country witnessed 20,367 positive cases of 1.52,521 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
The level of testicitivity test (TPR) is 13.35%.
Meanwhile, 139 Covid deaths have been confirmed, taking dead in the country to 17,655.
At the same time, 20,265 patients have recovered.
Among new cases, 19,221 cases have been infected through local transmission.
Infection’s contact sources cannot be traced to 977.
Malappuram reported the highest number of cases with 3,413, followed by thrissur (2,500), Kozhikode (2,221), Palakkad (2,137), Ernakulam (1,420), Kollam (1,420), 1,217), alappuzha (1,090 ), Kottayam (995) and Thiruvananthapuram (994).
So far, 33,37,579 people have recovered, even as 1,78,166 patients still undergo treatment.
There are 4,91,491 people currently observing in various districts, where 4,62,411 is in the center of house or institutional quarantine, and 29,080 in isolation in hospitals.
In accordance with the weekly infection population ratio (WIPR), 266 wards in 52 local bodies have more than 10% WIPR.
