Thiruvananthapuram: The country witnessed 20,487 positive cases from 1.34,861 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
The positive level of the test has dropped to 15.19%.
Meanwhile, 181 Covid death was reported, making the deaths associated with 22,484.
At the same time, 26,155 patients had recovered from this disease.
Among the new cases, 19,497 cases have been infected through local transmission.
The contact source of infection cannot be traced to 793.
Thrissur reported the highest number of cases with 2812, followed by Ernakulam (2490), Thiruvananthapuram (2217), Kozhikode (2057), Kollam (1660), Palakkad (1600), Malappuram (1554), Alappuzha (1380), Kottayam (1176), Wayanad (849), Kannur (810), Idukki (799), Pathanamthitta (799), and Kasaragod (284).
The current total active case is 2.31,792, which is 12.9% of people who claim to be good at hospitals or in other treatment centers.
There were 6,13,495 people when under observations in various districts, which were 5,81,858 in their homes or institutional quarantine centers, and 31,637 were in isolation at the hospital.
As per population ratio of weekly infections, different wards in 794 local bodies experience WIPR more than 7%.
Among these, 692 wards were in urban areas and 3416 were in rural areas.
In this ward, strict lock limitations have been carried out.
