PUDUCHERRY: COVID-19 CASE Daily fresh touches all time since the infection outbreak in the Puducherry Union area.
Territory reported 2,093 cases even as 256 patients recovered in the last 24 hours ended at 10am on Tuesday taking the total active case to 10,393.
Previously the region reported the maximum number of Daily Covid-19 cases on May 11 last year (2,049).
Only three times the Daily Covid-19 case passed 2,000-mark.
Territory reported 2,007 new cases on 12 May last year.
Of the 10,393 active cases, 10,230 are under isolation and home care.
Puducherry head office reported maximum new cases with 1,715 followed by Karaikan (279), Yanam (54) and Mahe (45).
Puducherry headquarters have a maximum active case with 9,097 followed by Karaikan (1,021), Mahe (161) and Yanam (114).
Three Patients – A 81-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman from Puducherry and a 59-year-old man from Karaika – died on infection took the dead to 1,893.
Puducherry headquarters have maximum death with 1,476 followed by Karaikan (254), Yanam (109) and MAHE (54).
Infection mortality rate reached 1.4%.
The weekly level of infection in the region reached 40.7%, one of the highest in this country.
The sample front level (6,028) tested on Tuesday reached 34.7%.
Territory has so far reported 1.4 lakh cases where 1.28 lakh patients recovered the recovery rate of 91.3%.
The health care authority has so far tested 20.99 Samples of Swab Lakh which is 17.77 lakh restored negatively.
They have so far gave 15.03 doses of Lakh Vaccine Covid-19.
They have so far given the first dose to 9.09 lakh people, the second dose of up to 5.9 lakh people and prevention doses to 2,987.
They have given the first dose to 2,842 people, second dose of up to 1,993 people and prevention doses to 676 in the last 24 hours.
