Chandrapur: Around 20,000 applicants from Chandrapur Regency, Gadchiroli and Gondia are likely to lose the SRPF recruitment drive, scheduled for September 9 at Gadchiroli, because they have been rejected by the Hall ticket for the exam after failure to upload their domicile certificate.
Maharashtra Navnirman Leader and Corporator Sachin Bhoyar has taken problems with the Minister of Chief, Minister of Home Affairs and Guardian and demanded 2 more days for candidates to upload certificates.
Former Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar has supported the request and collected a letter to the Minister of Home Affairs Dilip Walse Patil.
Bhoyar said recruitment for 176 posts at the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF) was announced in 2019 and around 27,000 young people from Chandrapur, Gondia and Gadchiroli have been implemented through the Maharashtra Government Mahaparashtra Portal.
However, the drive was postponed after the Pandemic Covid-19 and meanwhile the state government closed the Mahapariksha portal.
The assignment of data handling 27,000 valid applications was handed over to one ginger company.
The company sends messages and e-mails to applicants who ask them to change their user ID and password.
When applicants obey the direction, they get a message about ‘Registration Success’.
Bhoyar further said now that the intensity of the pandemic has subsided, the state announces September 9 as the exam date for encouraging withheld recruitment and according to the message is sent to all applicants.
However, when applicants try to download their hall tickets, they are rejected access with the ginger portal which states that they have not uploaded a domicile certificate.
Bhoyar claims that there are no applicants who receive a message to upload their domicile on the portal.
He estimates that nearly 20,000 applicants will lose the opportunity, because of errors by the company.
Bhoyar on Friday continued memorandum to the main minister through district collectors who demanded more time for applicants to upload their certificates.
