20k rs stolen from A / C women; The court said the bank was not blamed

Bengaluru: A woman who lost Rs 20,000 after the thief stole his debit card and swiped it at the ATM kiosk approaching the consumer court who rejected his claim that the bank had to compensate for the losses.
The bank claims the culprit knows a woman’s ATM PIN that might be crossed on notes and stored with a bank card when stolen from it during a bus trip in the city.
The 56-year-old woman from the 2nd RMV stage was on the BMTC bus who left Sanjaynagar to Malleswaram when his debit card was stolen on July 19, 2017.
He had to know about theft only after he received an SMS on the withdrawal of Rs 20,000 from his bank account using his card.
He then rushed to Syndicate Bank Branch in Gandhinagar where he held the account and filed a complaint about this issue.
The woman was also approaching the Malleswaram police station and got FIR registered in theft.
Probe Introduction revealed that the culprit was withdrawing money from ATM Karur Vysya in Malleswaram but the bank claimed the suspects could not regulate crimes without pins that might be mentioned on the notes along with the stolen card along with notes.
Supports tackling for almost two years, the woman approached the district consumers who denied the Redressal commission in Shantinagar on May 31, 2019 with complaints against the branch manager of the Syndicate Bank and Karur Vysya Bank and also Malleswaram police.
