Noida: Drive Vaccination was held at 105 centers in the city on Tuesday, when 8,504 people in various age groups were given a shot against the target of 20,000 jabs set for that day.
Officials said while 2,175 people in the 18-44 age group took their first dose of the vaccine, 2,175 people were given a second shot on Tuesday.
Against the estimated 10.7 lakh population target in this category, 14.9 Lakh people took the first dose in this category and 10.6 lakh took both shots.
With the age group 15-17, 1,254 people were given a vaccine on Tuesday.
Against the estimated population targeted 1.1 lakh in this group, 76,557 people have taken first shots and 851 doses.
In the 45-plus category, 727 people were attached to Tuesday.
The target population that is estimated in the age group is 3.1 lakh, which is opposed by 3.5 lakh has been given the first dose.
