Gurdaspur: Delegation of 21 members of the leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reached the Kartarpur corridor to visit Gurudwara Darbar Sahib on Saturday.
The delegation was led by the Punjab President BJP Ashwani Sharma.
Kartarpur’s corridor, which connects Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan, the final resting place for the founder of Teacher Nanak Dev, to the Temple of Dera Baba Nanak in the Gurdaspur district, reopened on Wednesday.
In the main decision, Prime Minister Narendra Modi-LED Government decided to reopen the Kartarpur corridor since November 17.
It was closed after the Pandemic Covid-19.
Corridor Length 4.7 kilometers free visa joined the Indian border to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan.
It became operational in 2019.
