Ahmedabad: On Monday, the Ministry of Health Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) told 21 new micro detention zones, so the total number of micro-active detention zones in the city to 65.
This zone includes 240 houses with 904 residents.
Of these, the highest number of zones, seven, are in the northwest zone in areas such as Bodakdev, Vastrapur, Thaltej and Chandlodia.
These seven detention zones covered 129 houses and 482 residents, the highest number in the city.
A total of 134 houses on the four floors of the Simandhar Tower Block near the jury, the bungalow intersection was put into micro containment on Monday.
Fourteen houses with 81 residents, on the three floors of the Hillol complex near the Lad Society in Vastrapur, were also included under detention.
Twenty-four houses with 79 residents on the sixth floor of Arohi Agha and 18 houses with 54 residents in Surya Mandir Tower in Bodakdev stated the micro detention zone.
AMC continued the practice of notification of the micro detention zone in November, because the country and city saw an increase marked in the Covid case.
The practice was stopped in May 2021.
