LUCKNOW: 21 convicts lodged in various jails of Uttar Pradesh have denied to avail parole being awarded to them.
The majority of them have reported that the fear of having coronavirus disease outside prisons because the motive to return in prison.
Before this season, UP jails had begun dispersing below trials and convicts on bond and parole according to the Supreme Court directives for decongestion of all jails in perspective of coronavirus pandemic.

“Prisoners say they have access to improved health care centers, food and medication inside prisons.
A lot feel they wouldn’t find appropriate care and centers within their own villages,” a senior prison official said.
Another prison officer said since the outbreak of coronavirus outbreak, the health of prisoners is being continuously monitored.
“We provide them food.
A physician can be obtained round-the-clock for checkup.
We’ve been able to maintain a check on the spread of this virus within prisons,” he explained.
At least 10,123 under trials and convicts are published up to now on bond and parole according to the Supreme Court directives.
As numerous as 8,463 beneath trials were published on bail while 1,660 convicts have been provided a parole of 60 days.
Maximum of all 703 under trials are published from Ghaziabad district prison, whilst greatest 78 convicts are awarded parole in Kanpur district prison.
