21,119 Covid-19 Cases Fresh, TPR rose to almost 16 percent in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala on Tuesday reported 21,119 fresh Covid-19 cases that pushed the total Matieload infection to 35,86,693, with the level of pepositives of the test in the country increased by almost 16 percent.

Some of the worst affected districts in the country are Malappuram (3603), Ernakulam (2539), Kozhikode (2335), Thrissur (2231), Palakkad (1841), Kollam (1635), Alappuzha (1230), Kannur (1091) and Thiruvananthapuram (1040).
From new cases, 111 are health workers, 40 has come from outside the country and 20,027 infected through contact with the contact source is unclear in 941 cases, the release said.
At present there are 4,82,290 people under supervision in various countries.
Of these, 4.53,540 is in a quarantine of a house or institutional and 28,750 in the hospital.
