Finished / alvi more than 36 women with third phase Shakti Times News Network Kanpur: around three dozen women who have worked well in their respective fields being held by district judges and representatives under the third phase of the Shakti Mission program held at Vikas Bhawan here on Saturday.
The main program was inaugurated by Governor Anandi Ben and Chair of the Yogi Adityanath Minister held at Indira Gandhi Pratathan Lucknow.
CM also welcomed all women on the night of Raksha Bandhan.
Speaking of this program, CM said the government had taken several steps to ensure women’s security and empowerment in the state.
The contribution of women in the development of state and country was significant, he said.
In the program held here, the head of the Varun Swapnil, District Panchayat who spoke to women said that women must know their rights and duties and provide good moral values to their families and cooperate with men.
“Women in the state of moving forward and state and the central government have launched several programs for them where they get financial support from birth, education, health, and marriage”, he said.
Poonam Kapoor, Member, the Commission of the Women’s Female Body said the country and the central government run more than 125 different schemes for women.
The Commission of Women’s Women was alert to protect their rights, he said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South Kanpur) Raveena Tyagi in his speech said that the state government was determined to provide security for women and maintain their dignity.
He said women could call 112 points to seek police assistance in cases of domestic violence, insecurity and problems.
To protect the interests and rights of state women have launched several schemes and released a list of telephone numbers to seek police assistance, he said.
Those made are Asha Katiyar, Pratibha Sharma, Renu Chaudhary, Niharika Singh, (All Basic Department of Shiksha) Priya Sharma, Vandana Soanki, Renu Nigam, Aarti Pathak (All NGOs), Kamla, Soni, Kanchan (National Mission of Rural Livelihoods) , Sarita Mishra, Nidhi Gupta, Alka (all police), Poonam Dubey, Indrapal, Rekha Devi, Sandhya, (Home Guard Deptt), Ruchi Jain, Rekha, Ritika Kanaujia (All Health Dept.), Namita Singh, Pooja Awasthi, Uma Saxena , Gracy Gupta (secondary education).
