Bengaluru: Twenty-two City Police Officers and Personnel have been suspended until August 17 this year, marking a sharp increase in men and women in uniforms was indicted for corruption and other illegal activities.
Last year, six police officers had to face music for similar charges.
Polluted personnel this year included seven officers.
Serving police officers said the number was not worrying because they only reflected the sincerity of the authorities to clean the department.
“There is a serious effort to give a new facial department, friendly citizens.
The case of suspension and department investigation increase only when the boss was determined to take action against officers and personnel wrong and give patients to hear the people who advanced with complaints against the police,” said a senior officer .
He, however, acknowledged that there was a lobby at work in the department to land what was seen as a Prem post and corruption case in style was a manifestation of this deeper Malaise.
However, veterans did not share this optimism.

Some officers blamed the incidence of corruption in their department to lock, work pressure, fast transfer and political intervention.
The suspended police were accused of demanding Moneyslang, 22 officers and police personnel who were suspended this year were accused of illegal and demanding money, both from the complainant or defendant.
Incidentally, in three high profile corruption cases that rocked the city police this year, the defendant was a female officer.
