Chandrapur: In fraud work flowing to RS1.5 Crore, cheat cheat 22 young people by promising work at Chandrapur Zilla Parishad (ZP).
ZP officials on Wednesday lodged into firs with the Ramnagar police station in this relationship.
PSO, Ramnagar, Manohar Gite said no arrest was carried out.
Investigation is likely to reveal more victims.
In accordance with the complaint, one brijeshkumar Jha issued a fake appointment letter with a signature of the collector and former CEO to 22 people after taking around RS7 Lakh from each of them.
The problem was revealed after two young people, Surajnath Kodape and Nitin Ghorpade, approached CEO of Mitali Setri with a letter of appointment that was not issued by the ZP government.
It turned out that the collector’s signature and the former CEO were faked with the help of a computerized original signature scan.
Kodape, who previously worked for ZP temporarily, was looking for a rape again.
Ghorpade is looking for a junior officer’s job for his brother Rupesh.
Jha, a resident of Ballarpur, has issued a fake appointment letter in 2019-20 but stopped the candidates to join ZP by giving different reasons.
