22 farmer groups formed the front of the political, the contest of the upcoming Punjab selection contest

Bathinda: Two weeks after ending protests throughout the year against agricultural laws, 22 farmer groups on Saturday formed a joint political front to oppose the election of the upcoming assembly in Punjab.
Political clothing has been named Sanyukt Samaj Morcha, taking Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), the body of the farmer’s umbrella that has organized protests.
Of the 32 farmer groups which were part of SKM, 22 had joined hands to form a political front while three more convinced their support.
‘Samyukta Samajta Morcha’ was formed to hold the election of the punjab assembly.

The source said the newly formed front was able to consider joining AAM AADMI parties on the next stage.
However, leaders so far state that they will oppose independent elections.
Senior farmer leader Balbir Singh Rajewal was chosen as the front leader.
Rajewal said that following farmer agitation, the aspirations of people had grown and they urged leaders to float political parties.
Previously, Haryana-based farmer leader, Gurnam Singh Charuni floated his own political party called Sanyukt Sangharsh Party.
