Pune: Twenty-two new courses at the Postgraduate Level, Postgraduate, Diploma and Certificates have lined up by Savitribai Phule Pune University in universities and the Department of affiliated in the academic year 2021-22.

These courses are intended to meet industrial specific demand and make students acquire skills along with the learning outcomes needed from each course, Nitin Karmalkar, representatives of the University Chancellor, said.
A large number of courses, nine, are planned in the Faculty of Science and Technology-Engineering with a focus on design, machine learning, Internet of Things at the undergraduate level.
At the master level, robotics and automation, wireless communication technology and sensor system are in essence.
“In addition to a new course, our platform named Degree Plus will provide more than 400 certificate courses.
These are all skills courses, to some extent, will help make students work.
We have created these courses or take onboard courses provided by various Different agents like Amazon or Coursera.

Certification will be provided by the University.

Karmkar says one reason why students don’t take certificate courses, especially at UG levels, is because many courses have unnecessary modules.

“We have analyzed this and therefore we have chosen very specifically, for the course of choosing students.
We work to see if a student can take several certificate courses and use credit that scores in its regular course too.
