Jaipur: 68% of beneficiaries in the state have received the first dose of the Covid vaccine while 22% have obtained the second.
Of the 5.14 crore receivers, more than 1.26 crore people are now truly vaccinated against Covid, while the first 3.54 crore doses have been given in the state.
As many as 1,999 vaccination sites carried out by the government remain functional, while 77 private hospitals provide vaccines.
Collective 2.17 doses of lakh given until 9pm, Monday.
Health department officials said they are now focusing on rural areas, which are abandoned from vaccination.
As a result, more vaccinations in rural areas are happening compared to urban areas.
On September 4, as many as 5.5 lakh doses were given in rural areas compared to a dose of 1.65 lakh in the urban hub.
On September 5, 89,943 doses were given in rural areas of 46,762 in the urban zone.
While some countries still report Covid cases in increased amounts, the state reported eight new cases on Monday as a whole reached 9.54,137.
There are no deaths reported.
The country toll stands at 8,954.
The district that reported new cases was Barmer (4) and Twocases each reported from Jaipur and Srianganganagar.
At present, the state has 86 active cases with the Jaipur topping list with 40, followed by Udaipur (7) and Ajmer (7).
Of the 33 districts, 17Districts did not even have one active case.
