AURANGABAD: Two men were detained for supposedly stealing 22 two-wheelers in Maharashtra’s Aurangabad town, an official said on Thursday.
Following a few complaints of automobile thefts, the City Chowk authorities in Aurangabad started a stunt and put a trap before this week, ” the official stated.
Gauskhan Pathan (35) was captured while attempting to steal a bike in Shahgunj place, he explained, adding that the next detained Nawabkhan Pathan (40) was subsequently nabbed.
At least 22 two-wheelers discharged from the duo were retrieved from Godri and neighboring villages in Jalna, ” the official stated.
According to the authorities, the accused was used to modify the number plate and then market the bicycles asserting that they have been captured by means of a fund company.
In a similar scenario, the Aurangabad African American authorities have nabbed Tameshwar Taji (31) in Waluj place for stealing vehicles,” an official said.
The authorities have captured three bikes from the accused, so he added.
