NEW DELHI: A 22-year-old guy was detained for allegedly murdering his company’s mother when robbing her north Delhi’s Burari.
The guy also set afire the chambers prior to fleeing.
The arrested man was recognized as Shivama resident of Burari.
According to authorities, the incident was reported to police from the girl’s son Pramod (38) who runs a food booth.
He told authorities he along with his wife had gone Khajuri Khas on Saturday to fulfill his own sister, who had lately lost her husband.
“Pramod stated when they returned around 10 pm, and they discovered his mom, Rajwati, lying lifeless on the ground along with her throat slit.
She had any burn injuries to her left leg,” explained a senior police officer.
During first probe, it had been discovered that the entrance to the home was friendly and the accused has been proven to Rajwati.
Deputy commissioner of police (north west ) Anto Alphonse reported that through investigation, authorities zeroed on Shivam and he had been apprehended.
“In his case, the redeemed money and jewelry, blood-stained clothing of Rajwati plus also a kitchen knife used in the offense were also recovered.
The accused was used to function as a server in Pramod’s eatery.
He understood that Pramod, together with his spouse, was heading out and consequently, entered the home to steal valuables.
