New Delhi: A 22-year-old woman was arrested from the Southeast Delhi Hazrat Nizamuddin area for allegedly supplies drugs, police said on Tuesday.
The defendant was identified as Aasma aka Nasima, a resident of Hazrat Nizamuddin, they said.
On Sunday, the police received a tip-off that a woman would come to Bhogal on the scooter to sell psychotropic substances to unknown people.
The police put the trap and arrested the woman, said a senior police officer.
A total of 2,065 grams of marijuana were confiscated from his ownership, the officer said.
Interrogation revealed that Aasma was a widow.
Her husband died last year due to chronic disease, police added.
