Pune: The Covid-19 Daily case is recognized by fresh recovery in the Pune Metropolitan area on Sunday.
As many as 199 people tested the virus positive on Sunday, pushing progressive kaseload in this region to 11.55,590.
At the same time, 220 patients were repatriated, pushing the total recovery in the region to 11,34,334, according to the daily report issued by the District Health Office four people surrendered in the region on Thursday – two at the city limit of Pune and each Pimpri Chinchwad and rustic bags.
This requires the death toll PMR to 19,163.
A total of 11,146 samples were tested throughout the region on Saturday, pushing the level of peposititivity that day to the region to 1.78%.
On Sunday, there were 2,125 active cases at PMR – 685 patients treated in hospitals, while 1,440 people chose to isolate the house.
PMC recorded 95 new cases and 75 recovery, while Pimpri Chinchwad added 45 patients and reported 55 release.
The rest of the rural belt contributed 51 cases and as much recovery, the city council added five patients and 18 recovery, and Canton amounted to three new cases and two release.
So far, 88.29,581 samples have been tested at PMR.
PMC tested 4,171 samples (a total of 36.64,289), Pimpri Chinchwad carried out 3,901 tests (21,63,400), and the rural part was carried out by 2,794 tests (totaling 22,00,033).
