221 days from the start, the amphibious plane remained

Ahmedabad: India’s first Amah service that connects the Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad with a statue of unity in Kevadia, will still continue the operation.
According to the state government source, this service is expected to be continued in September, there are no signs of flight to start anytime.
With this, the aircraft operation of the amphibution remained suspended for around 221 days since it was founded on October 31, last year.

It is not clear whether the service will continue its first birthday this year, say the source.

“Land packages have been identified for the Shatrunjay Dam project right near the location of the dam.
However, the feasibility study conducted to establish Drome Air revealed that this site was slightly under the ‘high flood level’ of the Dam,” said Captain Ajay Chauhan, Director – Civil Aviation, Government Gujarat.
Because of this, Drome Water cannot be built on the site.
The State Authority has allocated other land parcels near the previous site and the feasibility study will begin soon.
“We have identified and allocates other land parcels located around 500 m from the Drome Air site that was previously proposed for the Shatrunjay dam.
Proposal on this will be sent to the Union of the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
After approval, the feasibility study will be done soon,” Chauhan added .
The Shatrunjay Dam in Palitana in the Bhavnagar and Dam Dharoi District in Mehsana Regency is the two sites identified for the proposed Amphibious aircraft project.
Spicejet is set to operate sea aircraft services that connect this drome water.
