Prasagraj: A total of 23 candidates, which appeared in a practical skill test for the Stenographer post conducted by the Staff Election Commission (SSC) on Friday, was arrested by the police after suspicion arose when the face of this candidate did not match the prelims test documents held For this post in December 2020.
The candidates were taken by the police from Abhay Memorial College on Friday under the Puramufi police station.
A pine has been registered against the young man who was arrested at the Puramufi police station and college authorities accused that they were arrested were proxy candidates.
According to SP crime, Ashutosh Mishra, school staff are checking candidates during the main or practical test for the stenographer’s position recruited by the SSC on Friday, and the authorities pay attention to the differences in photos of 23 candidates.
“School authorities told us that during the process of examining candidate credentials, school managers and judges arrested 23 candidates whose photos were not suitable from the Tier-i document (Preliminary Examination) of the exam,” SP Crime said.
He then informed that about the complaint of the principal, a FIR had been put forward at the Puramufi police station.
Mishra also informed that when asked, 23 of these candidates claimed to be original.
However, what is confusing is that the candidates claim that they are actual candidates and that those who have emerged on their tests in the level-I (written) test are imitators of the breaker gang.
However, candidates cannot answer why they do not increase this problem before and bring this fact to light up only after the problem arises on practical exam day.
The police then arrested 23 candidates and further investigations were underway to ensure the credentials of the candidates.
In addition to rising, the young men who were arrested praised from neighboring Bihar.
Allegations arrested include RAM Prasad Patna, Inderjit Kumar Paswan, Saurabh Bhartia and Shakeel.
Apart from this, Ramesh Kumar of Soron, Shyam Babu Yadav, Neeraj Kumar, Sheel Madhur Pal, Vivek Yadav and Amar Singh, Dhirendra Yadav and Digvijay Singh Patel of Bahria, Pradeep Kumar and Devraj from Phatrakoot, Sachin Shivkuti Kumar, Devendra Singh and Akhilendra Singh Sarainayat, Ravindra Pratap Singh, Krishna Singh and Suraj Kumar from Jhunsi, Ram Abhilash of Mauaiai and Ravindra Kumar from Varanasi have been arrested by the police.
The police are also investigating the real identity accused of being arrested, and the address provided by them.
The police said that after questioning all 23 candidates, further action would be taken.
