Noida: Twenty-two criminals guaranteed active in the national capital region were detained and one, with around 65 pine nesting against it, arrested in Joint Operation Noida, Ghaziabad and Delhi police, officials said on Monday.
The action took place on Sunday night during a three-hour search campaign specifically carried out by 120-140 police personnel in the Khoda area, a neighborhood on the border of Delhi-Uttar Pradesh known as a criminal hiding place, they said.
“Prague Operation 2 ‘was a joint operation carried out by Ghaziabad police forces, Delhi and Noida on Sunday night to track some criminals seized for their verification,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Noida) Ranvijay Singh.
“These criminals are active in Delhi-NCR and there are many inputs from those who live in the Khaziabad Khaziabad colony after surgery involving around 140 police officers led by some senior officers conducted,” Singh said.
According to a police statement, 22 such villains were detained during the process for further questions, while one, identified as Durgesh, was arrested.
Durgesh has around 65 fir against it, police said.
In the instructions of Police Commissioner Noida Alok Singh, the file is being prepared with the details of the criminal, and such operations will be carried out in the future too, officials added.
