Coimbatore: A 23-year-old guest worker was killed by his relatives for drunk fights at Kaveri Nagar near Vellalore Pirivu on Monday morning.
G Rajesh Thakur, from Jatui Regency in Bihar, was found dead in his blood in Kaveran Nagar.
Police investigations revealed that Rajesh lived with his cousin P Shibu Thakur, 25, from Howrah in West Bengal, in a rented house.
Both are construction workers.
On Sunday night, Shibu under the influence of alcohol fighting with Rajesh.
After the fight, Rajesh told his younger brother Ravi Thakur who lived in the rental room on the tendril.
Ravi contacted Shibu by telephone and told him that he would visit him on Monday morning to sort the problem.
When another construction worker Karthik visited Rajesh’s house around 8:30 a.m.
on Monday, he found it killed.
Karthik immediately told 108 ambulance services and ambulance staff stated that Rajesh died.
They also told the tendril police who sent corpses to Coimbatore Medical College and hospitals.
Personal investigation revealed that Shibu had attacked Rajesh with an iron stick before piercing his head and left leg.
Then, Shibu escaped from the place.
Sulur police have formed a special team for Nab Shibu.
