237 Women’s Driver Register for E-Autos: Kailash Gahlot

New Delhi: Minister of Transport Kailash Gahlot on Wednesday said “E-Auto Mela” which was taking place received an extraordinary response with several women enrolled.
Until Tuesday night, the department had received more than 7,800 applications.
Seven-Day Mela was launched by a gahlot on October 25 to increase the existence of electric autorickshaw in Delhi.
The transportation department has invited an online application for registration of 4,261 e-autos where 1,406 is reserved for women’s applicants.
By stating that until Tuesday, around 237 drivers of women have registered, Gahlot told TI that this department was intentional on whether the portal must continue to remain open outside the last date to register.
Special drives will be carried out in connection with NGOs to object to women’s drivers and help them with the registration process.
“We have been in the process of roping in NGOs working on women’s drivers training and gender sensitization.
They can motivate women who do not know how to drive or do not have a license or badge of public service vehicles and help them complete the formality,” Gahlot said.
He added that by spreading the news about the initiative, the driver of a woman who had registered can instill confidence in others.
Gahlot says autos electricity will help curb pollution.
The department also plans to integrate e-autos on the “One Delhi” application to meet those who use public transportation.
“We really hope about this initiative.
E-Auto Mela has been very well received by all stakeholders.
Once we pass by 4,261 permits, we will think of the next plan.
Because electric vehicles are basically new technology, we realize that there must be a problem Teeth.
We will try to solve it and improvise with problems, “said Minister.
E-auto Mela will continue until October 31.
It was held in two locations, the Driving Institute, Training and Research at Sarai Kale Khan and Loni.
Prospective automatic drivers visit events can drive all available models and even explore loan offers.
Experts are also present at the venue to help visitors register e-autos and to tell them about environmental benefits.
