The investigator suspects that the Gold Bars are strategically placed by smugglers as part of the plan to be taken from the aircraft at the next stage, maybe by other gang members.
The source with Kia said the gold biscuit was 2.8kg was found in Indigo Flight 6E 096 (Dubai to Bengaluru).
Flights were packed with passengers from the UAE landed in Kia at around 10:30 a.m.
on Tuesday and all leaflets got off the plane.
Following Tip-off, Detective Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) Bangalore Customs combed it thoroughly to see two items such as a sealed bar with a gray channel tape that attaches to the bottom of the passenger seat.
Officers cut it to find 24 gold bars.
The investigator tried to ensure the identity of the passenger.
