PANAJI: As many as 240 people tested positive and 360 were declared cured over the last 24 hours, taking the tally of active cases to below 3,000.
The case positivity rate reduced to 7.63% while the recovery rate was at 96.50%.

Two women — a 58-year-old from Karnataka and an 83-year-old from Madkai — both having comorbidities, died after a few days of treatment.
A 76-year-old man from Merces and a 78-year-old from Bardez having comorbidities died after two weeks of hospitalisation.
During the day, forty patients were hospitalised and five discharged whereas 200 were placed in home isolation.
The number of patients in Covid care centres has dropped drastically, and centres in both South and North are almost empty.
The caseload of all centres in North Goa has been below 150.
In South Goa, the Ponda primary health centre continues to have comparatively high cases.
On Wednesday, its active cases were 235, while the rest had less than 200.
