Erode: A 25-year-old woman was arrested by the Pertundurai police on Tuesday for killing her two children by throwing it into Pudur Mettur near Vijayamangalam.
The deceased has been identified as R Vinil Kumar, 3, and R Malavika, 1, from Pudur Metture.
Introduction Investigate revealed that Ramesh, 30, an alcoholic, often quarreled with his wife Sagaya Selvi, 25.
“On Tuesday morning, Sagaya Selvi developed stomach ache and asked her husband to buy soda,” police said, adding that Ramesh attacked him when he demanded money.
Unfortunately Sagaya Selvi took two children and jumped into the well.
While fire personnel and rescue saving Sagaya Selvi, they can only take the bodies of two children from the well.
