Greater Noida: A 25-year-old man was shot dead by three young men in Dankaur on Sunday.
The police suspect dispute was the reason behind the murder.
The deceased has been identified as Sandeep Nagar, a resident of Chachora Village in the Dankaur area.
Arvind Pathak, Sho, Dankaur, said Nagar recently bought a 200m plot in Kherli Hafizpur Village and on Sunday, he went there to oversee the work of the wall construction.
“Around 10 o’clock in the morning, three armed men, one on a motorcycle and two in the car, reached the area.
They began firing shots and one bullet hit Nagar in the neck.
People and local workers who work on the site told the police.

Then, Nagar Uday Singh’s father filed a complaint at the Dankaskan police station against the locals Vinod Khari, his brother Bobby and one Amit Mavi.
Police said the land of Nagar was a debated property and Khari had claimed ownership.
“A FIR has been submitted against three people under the 302 (murder) IPC.
We scan the CCTV supply from the nearest area,” Sho Pathak said.
