KAPURTHALA: Almost 250 shanties here have been gutted in a fire which broke out on Wednesday afternoon, said officers. There was no record of any casualty from the episode, they explained, including fire tenders were pressed into service to put the blaze out. Over 1,000 migrant labourers are left homeless because of this fire episode. The government has organized food to them, ” he said.
