New Delhi: About 2,500 Delhi police personnel have been tested positive for Covid-19 since January 1 and 767 of them have recovered, an official said on Monday.
According to the latest data, since January 1, around 2,500 Delhi police personnel from all ranks and units of positively tested for Covid.
Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Chinmoy Balmal who is also a police spokesman Delhi has tested the positive virus.
He, however, has recovered and continued work, said a senior police officer.
“Many of them restore well and continue their duties every day,” added the officer.
“About 2,500 personnel have been tested positive for Coronavirus since January 1 to date.
From them, 767 infected personnel have recovered and continued their work,” Balwal said, Delhi police.
Meanwhile, a special camp is being held for police personnel from all ratings to manage the booster dose for qualifying.
The power of Delhi Police is more than 80,000, police said.
According to the previous commandments, all police personnel and their family members who fulfill the undelaccinated requirements can be motivated to complete the vaccination process.
“Those who have not been vaccinated for medical reasons can be encouraged to seek medical opinions again for vaccination,” said the command.
All police personnel can be motivated to take a dose of covid vaccine prevention and install and use the mobile application ‘Aarogya Setu’ Mandatorily.
Mandiri monitoring practices are adopted by police personnel and all types of diseases can be reported without failing, for daily health monitoring officers, orders have been added.
