Jaipur: At least 2,500 marriages were held here on Saturday before the end of the wedding season on December 14.
At night, the streets are Choc-a-block because people rushed to attend a wedding.
Whether it’s a bandwallah or catering, everyone has reservations at least three weddings for that day.
The wedding garden is decorated and busy with guests from the side of the bride and groom.
The road that connects to the wedding gardens in areas including the new Sanganer road, Queens Road, Kalwar Road, Park Raja, Mansarover, Jhotwara, Ajmer Road, Jagatpur and others are flooded with cars.
The vehicle took almost an hour to travel 5 to 10 km to reach wedding places.
“The wedding season ended from December 14 because of the start of the Maas Mall (a month that was considered unprofitable).
From January 14, 2022 and so on, the wedding season will start again,” said Priest Kamlesh Sharma.
In many places, the wedding manager has arranged sanitaryers.
However, in some such places, people are almost not seen using masks.
“Our band will play at least in four weddings in different intervals starting from 6.30 in the morning.
We charge Rs 5,100 to Rs 11,000 per hour to appear on Weddings,” said Shaukat Ali, the owner of a wedding band located in Kishanpole Bazar.
Those involved in decorations, lighting and catering had more than three bookings for that day.
“Our team works on a variety of wedding pages.
After Devuthni Gyar, this is the day when we have a marriage flood,” said Aakash Soni, a food catering.
