Nagpur: After almost a week, the overall test exceeded 25,500 in Vidarbha, with 99 which was positive back in the region on Thursday.
This means only 0.38% of the test coming positive.
Of the 7,547 tests conducted in Nagpur Regency in the last 24 hours, only 17 were positive while in Amravati, 13 of 6,400 was tested positive.
The level of testing in all districts is less than 1%.
This has been a situation in this region for the past two weeks.
On Thursday, no district reported more than 20 new cases, while five of them reported less than five cases.
The overall recovery rate of Vidarbha is far above 98% now, which is better than the average state and national.
Only 828 patients underwent treatment, which was less than 0.08% of Covid-19 cases reported in the region to date.
Seven of the 11 districts now have less than 50 patients in care.
Amravati is the only district to have more than 150 patients in medicine while Nagpur has 111 active cases.
Two deaths were reported at Vidarbha on Thursday – one in the Nagpur countryside and others in the Wardha district.
The latter reported Covid-19’s death after a two-week gap.
The fatality rate of the overall case of Vidarbha is 1.84%.
With a testicitivity of tests of less than 0.5% and more than 95% of the blank beds in Vidarbha for more than three weeks now, various stakeholders feel the area deserves more relaxation of the Covid-19 limitations.
Akola: Of the 1,130 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, three became positive while eight patients recovered.
Now, 48 patients are in care, the lowest in the district even after the first wave of Covid-19.
More than half of under-treatative patients are in house isolation.
Buldhana: The district reported 17 new cases from 2419 tests carried out in the last 24 hours while 18 patients recovered.
There are no deaths reported.
Of the 87,172 patients so far, 86,470 has recovered while Toll is 666.
Now, 36 patients are under treatment.
Washim: There are 10 new cases, eight recovery and no death on Thursday.
Kaseload was 41,595, the recovery of 40,881 and Toll 622.
There were 91 patients who were in care.
Gadchiroli: In the last 24 hours, 544 tests were carried out and 12 became positive.
There are 24 recovery while no death reported.
Caseload is 30,480, including 29,608 recovery and 131 patients in care.
Bhandara: District reported one case of 1,051 tests carried out in the last 24 hours.
There are only seven patients undergoing treatment.
No recovery reported on Thursday.
The recovery rate was 98.2% and testing testing was 0.09%.
Gondia: With two new cases of 1,061 tests, the Gondia has a test provision of less than 0.2%.
One patient recovered on Thursday, while no death was reported.
Now, Caseload is 41,169, including 40,453 recovery.
There were 16 patients undergoing treatment with nine of them in house isolation.
