Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 257 new Covid-19 cases and 1 death on Sunday even when the number of active cases reached 5,912.
The total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic was at 6.57,376 and the death toll was 3,870.
There are 16 active detention zones in the state.
Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones.
As many as 409 patients were declared recovered on Sunday, taking a total of patients recovered to 6.47,594.
