Letter: Members of Members 26 Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and their two candidates for the Prathmik Samiti Nagar poll (NPSS) were arrested on Monday in connection with the commotion during the poll on June 25.
One member of the Moradiya Board member, who did not get sick, was not arrested.
Then at night, they were produced before Judge Judicial and released with a guarantee.
The AAP leaders accused that their board members were deliberately arrested so that they could not participate in the General Council meeting.
While three board members were arrested in the morning, several other people were arrested before they could enter the head office of the Municipal Corporation (SMC) letter.
Some council members who managed to qualify into the building and hid alone were also arrested before they could enter the meeting room.
Two other board members were detained from the meeting room.
“The police had registered fir against our council on June 26, but they did nothing for 48 hours.
Just before the General Council meeting, they began to arrest our board members because we would increase the problem of irregularities carried out during the NPSS poll,” said Mahendra Navadiya, President Aap letter.
The AAP leaders said that it was for the first time the SMC General Council meeting was held in the absence of opposition.
Board members and their two candidates were ordered to create a commotion and damage the furniture after the NPSS poll on June 25 at the SMC headquarters.
They allegedly used rough language and quarreled with security guards.
