Jaipur: While the country reported a surge in the lowest surge in Covid-19 cases more than a year, Minister of Health Raghu Sharma appealed to people to continue to follow the Covid-19 protocol to prevent the third wave.
Only seven state districts reported Covid-19 cases, while the remaining 26 other districts reported no new infection.
According to the Ministry of Health’s report, 22 people were tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on Tuesday bringing its overall calculation to 9.53,415.
There are no deaths reported.
The country toll stands at 8,951.
The district that reported new cases was Jaipur (7), Udaipur (6), Srianganganagar (3), Nagaur (2), Ajmer (2), Hanumangarh (1) and Jaisalmer (1).
“We have controlled the first and second waves of Covid-19 in the state but still the threat is not over.
There is fear of the third wave of Covid-19, so I begged people to strictly follow the behavior that fit Covid.
People must wear Mask while leaving the house, often wash hands and avoid going to crowded places, “Sharma said, placing the foundation stone from the Urban Primary Health Center (UPHC) government building near Bairwa Basti Inward number 78 in Kissembly constituency in Jaipur.
He said, UPHC near Bairwa Basti will be built at a cost of Rs 75 lakh and the construction will be completed within six months.
Active cases in the state have been under 400 mark.
The dedicated Covid-19 hospital from the country is almost lying empty.
“We have less than 40 patients in our hospital.
Daily acceptance has also declined, which is even less fluent,” said Dr.
