Coimbatore: Cybercrime District District arrested a 26-year-old Mettupalayam resident on Wednesday to have a photo of his ex-girlfriend.
The defendant was identified as Benjamin Paul, a private company employee.
“He had a relationship with the woman from their college days.
But he ended it and married another man last month.
Benjamin, who was crazy about him, wanted to cause cracks between the couple.
He memorfed the woman’s obscene photos and Send them to whatsapp her husband, “said a police officer.
The woman filed a complaint with the Cybercrime police, who registered a case on Wednesday under the information technology section, 2000 and captured Benjamin.
Benjamin was then returned in custody judge and nested in Udumalpet prison.
