Tirupati: The State Union Minister for Education, Electronics, Information and Information Technology Sanjay Dhotre has asked engineering students to play a role in taking the Digital Revolution in the future and in making the leader of the leader in the Arena.
The Minister ‘Virtual’ provided the address of the convocation of the Indian Information Technology Institute – Sri City (IIIIT), which was attended by the Chairperson (Board of Governors) M Ballasubramaniam, Managing Director of the Founder of the City of SRI and Board Member IIIit Ravindra Sannareddy and The Institute Director.

The Union Minister said the 2020 national education policy, was designed with a vision to make India, Super Power’s global knowledge, also aimed at producing students with scientific temperament, rational and critical thinking and endowed with the knowledge and skills needed for the 21st century.

As many as 261 students, including 164 CSE students and 97 students ECE received their degree, despite 28 honor students from both disciplines.

Kannabiran announced plans to significantly increase faculty-student ratios, add R & D infrastructure and focus on student development initiatives.
He also signaled plans to launch B.Tech Online and similar programs at the level of certificate, diploma and m.tech.
“The plan for training in in-house companies and a shared degree program with foreign universities will make the entrepreneurial institutions that are relevant nationally and globally recognized”, he said.
