Coimbatore: Chettipalayam police arrested a 27-year-old man on Tuesday for killing his neighbors in Othakkalmandapam on the outskirts of the city.
The pair, T wisnu, 30, from Thiruvalluvar Nagar in the area, is a driver of the earth.
The defendant, K Rajeskanna, 27, a native of Thaki Regency, was a car driver and lived with his family in a rented house.
“Rajeskanna and his father Kamaraj fought each other at their residence on Monday night in a drunk condition.
Can’t sleep, Wisnu asked them to stop fighting and telling them that other residents in the area were affected,” said a police officer.
Prapesna attacked Wisnu and strangled him.
Seeing this, their neighbors intered up and saved Vishnu.
After spitting, Wisnu went to wash his face and did not return for a long time.
When examined, he was found unconsciously, officer Asaid.
Neighbors took Wisnu to the hospital in Othakkalmandapam, from where he was referred to Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital.
“The doctor there said he was taken dead,” the officer said.
The police have registered a case below Section 302 (murder) from the Indian criminal code and catches Rajeskanna.
Wisnu survived his wife Sujatha and a 4 year old son.
