279 Cases of Registered Sedi between 2015 and 2019, said the government

New Delhi: Between 2015 and 2019, 279 Cases of Packing Registered in Section 124A IPC, although only nine people were punished in five cases in this period, the Ministry of the House told Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.
Likewise, 5,128 cases are registered under the prevention law of violating law (UPA) between 2015 and 2019, although only 155 people were punished in 123 cases.
Replying to the question, MOS Nitanand Rai cites NCRB data to declare that 279 registered decking cases, 127 chargesheeted cases and guaranteed confidence in 5 cases in five years since 2015.
Also, a total of 321 people were deemed for incitement and only 9 were punished at this time.
Regarding the case of UPA, between 2015 and 2019, 5,128 registered cases and Chargesheet filed in 1,427 cases where a total of 3,613 were loved ones.
Only 123 cases reached the confidence stage, where 155 were punished, Rai told Rajya Sabha
