TIRUPUR: As many as 28 people in Tirupur are experiencing therapy for mucormycosis, also called black fungus, wellness minister Ma Subramanian stated here on Saturday.
“While a number of these have been privately hospitals, 26 individuals are getting treated in Tirupur GH,” the ministry stated.
“Of those 400 mucormycosis cases found in Tamil Nadu thus far, 17 people are treated and 333 individuals are under treatment in hospitals throughout the country.
