Lucknow: For the third day in a row, the number of dengue fever patients in the city continued over 25 years old, raising alarms among the local residents and the Ministry of Health.
On Wednesday, 28 positive bloody patients were reported by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) office.
When the high number of cases continues, hotspots of dengue fever in the city also remain the same, including the silver area of Jubilee, NK Road, Indiranagar, Aliganj, Alambagh, Turiagaj, Aishbagh and Sarojini Nagar.
A team of health department officials in the Malaria unit on Wednesday visited the area and houses in Yahiyaganj, Teacher Nanak Nagar, Rajajipuram, Balaganj, Trivena Nagar, Faizultaganj, Ismailganj and Rafi Ahmad Kidwai Ward.
The residents are notified of the appropriate dengue fever and tells about it and should not be done.
Overall, 4,973 houses surveyed in the area and from eight houses issued a notification by the Ministry of Health to have conditions conducive to demquito growth.
