Gurgaon: Regency on Wednesday will vaccinate 29 government session sites, where 21 will be for Covaxin and the remaining eight for covishield.
All sessions will only give the second dose.
“We have a very limited vaccine left and focused on the second dose recipient.
There are 12,000 covaxin and 2,000 doses of covishield in our stock today.
We hope that we will get more doses in the next few days,” said Dr.
Virender Yadav , Chief Medical Officer, Gurgaon.
5,965 people in the age group 18-44 years were inoculated on Tuesday.
In the 45-plus category, 3,294 people take photos.
A total of 47 health care staff and 99 frontline workers also received Jab.
Overall, 9,405 Jab – 5,751 first dose and 3,654 second dose – administrated, including 120 in urban slums.
While 1,677 people were inoculated on the government session site, 7,728 people were given shots in private vaccination centers.
9 new cases, 2 more dead meanwhile, the city witnessed nine fresh Covid-19 cases on Tuesday.
Kaseload now stands at 1,80,726, where 95 is active.
This is the first time in more than one year the city has less than 100 active cases.
