Thiruvananthapuram: The state on Monday vaccinated 3,43,749 people, the highest single number since Covid-19 vaccination began in the state.
Although the government has set a target to provide vaccinations of at least two and a half lakh per day, it cannot be achieved until now due to a vaccine is a vaccine.
However, in the last two days, the state received around 11 doses of the lakh vaccine.
This is the reason why the country can provide nearly 3.5 lakh vaccines in one day.
In the coming days also the state government will provide as many shots as possible, depending on the availability.
On Monday 1,504 vaccination centers provide vaccinations for 3.43 lakh people.
Of these, 1,397 vaccination centers are in the government sector and 107 are in the private sector.
Thiruvananthapuram recorded the maximum number of Jab on the day – 46,041, followed by Ernakulam where 39,434 people were inoculated.
All districts provided provide more than 10,000 doses.
If the state must provide 3 doses of vaccines per day, then it will require a dose of 90 lakh vaccines for a month.
Therefore, the state government has asked the union government to provide the number of vaccines.
So far the country has managed 1,70,43,551 vaccine doses, including the first and second dose.
