New Delhi: After Delhi’s police began to release the barricade on the site of the farmers’ protest in Ghazipur, the leader of the Rahul Gandhi Congress on Friday said three “anti-agricultural” agricultural laws would also be drawn soon.
“Only artificial barricades have been removed so far, immediately three anti-agricultural laws will also be withdrawn.
Hail Annadata Satyagraha,” he said in a tweet in Hindi, using the ‘#farmersprotest’ tag.
Police Delhi on Friday began issuing barricades and cable concerts that had been put in place on the anti-agricultural law protest site in Ghazipur on the Border of Delhi-Uttar Pradesh.
Some iron and cement barricade layers, and at least five layers of Concertina cable were installed last year, and further strengthened after violence on January 26 this year during the protest of farmers on the three controversial agricultural laws.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Priyanka Kashyap said Friday, “The process of removing the barricade at the NH-9 has begun.
The temporary barricade is being released to reduce the movement of the vehicle.
However, the National Highway 24 has been open for traffic.” The opening of the Stretch of Road will help thousands of commuters in Ghaziabad, Delhi, Noida and those traveling between the national capital and Interior of Uttar Pradesh to Meerut and its surroundings.
